We offer a range of lime plastering services from initial consultation to completion. Although we specialise in traditional building renovation and restorations as well as the conservation of historic buildings, our plasterers work on any building requiring our professional expertise.
Main Services
Traditional Clay & Lime Plastering
Lime plastering has excellent breathable properties for older buildings. Whilst unfired clay plasters, excellent at absorbing atmospheric humidity, and ideal for bathrooms and kitchens.
Carpentry & Joinery
All aspects of joinery catered for, from repairs to newly made windows and doors. All first and second fixed carpentry works carried out, including cut roofs and dormers.
Stonework
We carry out all aspects of stonework built with lime or drystone construction. Let us know your requirements and we can work out the best solution for you.
Maintenance
All forms of maintenance big or small can be carried out on a one-off or regular basis as required. Covering all aspects of restoration and maintenance.
Flagstone Flooring
Flagstone (flag) is a generic flat stone, sometimes cut in regular rectangular or square shape and usually used for paving slabs or walkways, patios, flooring, fences and roofing.
All Aspects of Roofing
All roofing needs carried out e.g. tile, slate, copper and zinc. Rainwater goods overhauled and replaced. All aspects of lead work carried out including lead welding.
Our Lime Works
Hydraulic Lime Renders
Hydraulic lime renders can be used on internal and external projects and come in different NHL strengths depending on substrate.
Hand Modelled Decorative Plasterwork
Made with casting plaster and superfine lime putty, used mainly in repairs to cornice i.e. acanthia leaves and roses.
Lime Putty Renders
Lime putty renders are commonly used on listed or heritage projects where the substrate is of a soft nature. We also use putty renders on riven lathe ceilings and stud partition walls.
Lime Washing
All eras of lime washing interior and exterior carried out. Exterior mineral painting to new and existing renders also catered for. >
Haired Putty Renders
The haired lime putty mix is always the first coat applied.

We offer analysis services, bespoke decorative plaster design and production, consultancy services and quality assurance.
